Hi, I’m Julie. I’m a UK based registered nutritional therapy practitioner, BANT registered nutritionist, and lifestyle coach.

It’s not exactly news then that a healthy digestive system is essential for optimal wellness. My mission is to enable anyone who wants to look after their digestion to do so. That may be preventative, that may be because you already have unpleasant symptoms.

If you experience chronic digestive troubles, including, but not limited to:

  • acid reflux

  • indigestion/feeling like you have a brick in your stomach after eating

  • constipation

  • diarrhoea

  • bloating/distension

  • nausea

and your GP hasn’t sent you for further investigations, then you are in the right place for support.

Prevention can be better than cure, as they say. So if you want to be proactive about looking after your digestive system, then please come and join me.

To help you find your way around, I’ve organised posts into categories, which are set out at the top of the page.

  • Nutrition in the News - this is where I put posts that are inspired by what I have read in the mainstream media, and my take on them. Opinions are all my own.

  • Nutrition - these posts focus on what to eat and how to eat it.

  • Digestion - here I focus on how the digestive system works, and how best to support it

  • Reflux - as an accredited advance reflux management practitioner, I’m on a mission to support people who experience acid reflux

  • Rest & Digest - this is the membership area for paid subscribers

Subscribers to my free newsletter will get a weekly newsletter with a synopsis of the latest topic in nutrition, some implementable tips and a usually a recipe.
